Rebecca E. Olson is Senior Lecturer in Sociology, in the School of Social Science at the University of Queensland. She has written a monograph on the emotional dimensions of informal cancer caregiving, published by Routledge (Ashgate): Towards a Sociology of Cancer Caregiving: Time to Feel (2015). She is currently working on a book (Routledge, edited with Roger Patulny, Sukhmani Khorana, Alberto Bellocchi, Jordan McKenzie and Michelle Peterie) on Emotions in Late Modernity. Rebecca’s research interests intersect medical sociology, interprofessional practice, emotions and video-based qualitative methods. She has published in journals such as Social Science & Medicine and Medical Education.
